Ronald Brautigam, who ends our season, is one of the world’s foremost fortepiano players, both in solo recitals and with major orchestras. His instrument has leather covered hammers and harpsichord like strings and we will hear sonatas sound very much as they did when they were first played. Ronald has had a long love affair with the Peak District – he comes here regularly for summer holidays.
